In his role as Benefits Consultant, Grant Hendrickson works with business leaders and HR Professionals to design and implement robust benefit programs that attract and retain top talent. While Grant works in concert with organizations to develop cutting edge benefit packages, much of Grant’s focus is on employee education so employees understand how to best utilize the benefits they have access to.

Grant is passionate about human resources management and earned his SHRM-CP in 2018. In 2016, Grant helped launch Brogan’s HRIS platform which has helped clients streamline employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, COBRA administration and ACA reporting. He enjoys helping organizations create processes that are easy to use for both the employees and the HR/Business administrators. In addition, Grant is an expert on the Affordable Care Act and plays a lead role in Brogan’s Health Care Reform, ACA Reporting and ERISA Compliance department.

In 2021, Greg Brogan named Grant a partner at Brogan. Grant is thrilled for the opportunity to serve small and large businesses for many years to come.

Grant is a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate and has a diverse background. After college, Grant moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music and traveled the world on cruise ships as a professional vocalist/pianist for 8 years. In 2014 Grant moved to Michigan with his wife Sarah, who teaches Improv at Michigan State University. They live in East Lansing with their daughter, Madelyn and Havanese pup, Miller. Grant still enjoys playing piano and singing with his wife and daughter and still performs with professional musicians a few times each year.

In 2022, Grant founded Share The Music Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) which brought Lansing’s Backyard Bash Concert Series to life in an effort to put the Capital City back on the map as a destination for internationally renowned artists by bringing them to Lansing a summer concert series. Money raised from corporate sponsors and ticket sales compensate artists’ performance fees and profits from each show are donated to the MSU Community Music School’s Financial Aid and Tuition Assistance Program. Dicksie is a lifetime native of Michigan. She currently lives in Westphalia, Michigan with her husband Warren, of 34 years.  They have two daughters, a son-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Since 2009 Dicksie has been a Group Benefits Specialist at Brogan, Reed, Van Gorder & Associates, handling administrative functions related to group and individual business produced by Eric Brogan, CLU, ChFC, including health, dental, life, AD&D, LTD and STD products, as well as prospective business.  She energetically devotes much of her time to servicing their groups.

Prior to 2009 and moving into the insurance industry, Dicksie was the Legal Administrator for The Reynolds Law Firm, P.C. for 23 years, where she performed Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Network Administration, Facilities Management, Board/Corporate Administration, Bookkeeping and Billings.
