Greg is a lifetime resident of East Lansing, Michigan, residing with his wife, Chrissie and three daughters. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University with Marketing and Finance degrees.

He is the Managing Partner of Brogan, Reed, Van Gorder & Associates, an East Lansing Insurance and Investment firm founded in 1937 specializing in employee benefits, business and estate planning. Greg has 36 years in the business, 31 years as managing partner.

David H. Brogan

David has been a sales agent with Ohio National Financial Services since graduating from Michigan State University College of Business, with Honors, as an Insurance major back in 1956. His father, Harold C. Brogan, also worked for Ohio National, joining the company in 1934. Dave’s three sons, Greg, Eric and Andrew joined him in the insurance industry and all are affiliated with Brogan, Reed, Van Gorder & Associates in East Lansing, Michigan.

Dave is a Life and Qualifying member (45 consecutive years) of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table and has achieved many other industry and company awards. The top company salesman award was renamed the David H. Brogan Award in 2006 and in October of 2016, Ohio National Financial Services honored Dave on the occasion of his 60th anniversary with the company. 

Dave has served his community and industry in many leadership positions as well as having served as Chairman of the St. Lawrence Hospital Board, the Capital Region Community Foundation Board and as President of the East Lansing Board of Education. He is currently the President of the Todd Martin Development Fund, a non-profit fund that supports tennis and leadership training for Greater Lansing at-risk youth. He has also served over 50 years as an adviser to Psi Upsilon Fraternity at Michigan State University.

Mr. Brogan’s business activities involve insurance sales and service, employee benefits and retirement planning for individuals and businesses.

Dave and his wife, Patricia, reside in East Lansing, Michigan.

Raymond Choi, Brogan Reed VanGorder and Associates has earned the Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC™) professional designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

Candidates for the ChHC™ designation must complete a minimum of six courses and 12 hours of proctored examinations.  They must also fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements. The ChHC™ designation is considered the most comprehensive credential available for benefits specialists, healthcare consultants, and financial advisors interested in effectively providing clients with cutting-edge information.  The curriculum provides professionals with an in-depth understanding of the latest reforms in healthcare mandated by recent legislation.

Grant Hendrickson

In his role as Benefits Consultant, Grant Hendrickson works with business leaders and HR Professionals to design and implement robust benefit programs that attract and retain top talent. While Grant works in concert with organizations to develop cutting edge benefit packages, much of Grant’s focus is on employee education so employees understand how to best utilize the benefits they have access to.

Grant is passionate about human resources management and earned his SHRM-CP in 2018. In 2016, Grant helped launch BRV’s HRIS platform which has helped clients streamline employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, COBRA administration and ACA reporting. He enjoys helping organizations create processes that are easy to use for both the employees and the HR/Business administrators. In addition, Grant has become an expert on the Affordable Care Act and plays a lead role in BRV’s Health Care Reform, ACA Reporting and ERISA Compliance department.

Grant is a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate and has a diverse background. After college, Grant moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music and traveled the world on cruise ships as a professional vocalist/pianist for 8 years. Dicksie A. Hengesbach

Dicksie is a lifetime native of Michigan. She currently lives in Westphalia, Michigan with her husband Warren, of 34 years.  They have two daughters, a son-in-law, and four grandchildren.

Since 2009 Dicksie has been a Group Benefits Specialist at Brogan, Reed, Van Gorder & Associates, handling administrative functions related to group and individual business produced by Eric Brogan, CLU, ChFC, including health, dental, life, AD&D, LTD and STD products, as well as prospective business.  She energetically devotes much of her time to servicing their groups.

Experience
Doug Lottes has been in the employee benefits business since 1982. He has provided over 30 years of experience assisting companies of all sizes in managing their employee benefits expense.

Doug was most recently with UnitedHealthCare, the administrative service management company for Physicians Health Plan, and spent 13 years in various roles with the company. He was a Regional Vice President of Sales for six years, a Regional Vice President of Operations for five years and the CEO of West Michigan operations for two years. Doug joined Brogan, Reed, VanGorder & Associates in 2003.

Tina J. Thomas-Wilkinson

Tina began her career in the insurance industry in 1989 with Gadaleto, Ramsby & Associates (GRA) in East Lansing, Michigan.  She was the Account Manager for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Michigan League of Human Services.

At GRA her main focus was on Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network medical, dental and vision benefits.  She worked extensively with insurance agents, employers and employees across the state. 

In July 1996, Tina joined Brogan, Reed, VanGorder & Associates as an Assistant to Greg Brogan. Tina assists Greg in the implementation of New Business and the Retention of their current client base. 

In addition, she assists employees with claim administration and service problems, consults with Doctors, Hospitals and Pharmacies nationally.  She also provides benefit information to both employers and employees and consults with carriers in the State of Michigan. 

She served as Secretary of the Mid-Michigan Association of Health Underwriters for three years. 

Tina and her family live in DeWitt.
